Wi-OW is the wireless that delivers fiber-optic performance over the air. Where Wi-Fi falls short, Wi-OW breaks through the limits to provide unmatched speed and reliability. This patent-pending technology introduces a new omnidirectional laser-based wireless medium offering a ~0.1.5μs latency and data rates 10 times faster than Wi-Fi, while maintaining the same level of reliability.

Founder

Firouz Vafadari is a seasoned entrepreneur and Ph.D. researcher who previously served as the CEO and founder of two IoT and networking companies. He has been recognized by the U.S. government as a person of extraordinary ability and has been nominated for Forbes 30 Under 30. He also serves on the selection committee of UC Berkeley’s startup accelerator, SkyDeck.

He founded Light Links, Inc. in Silicon Valley, introducing Wi-OW, an Optical Wireless Communication technology with performance metrics tens of times stronger than existing RF solutions, powering the next generation of AI-driven wireless connectivity.
